Hey Reacher 23, Congrats on winning with Red! Awesome video and love the take on the whole Red Riding Hood fairy story. It was great to read how you made the wolf suit! Can’t believe you did it yourself. Glad I’m not dating you, I can just imagine it, ‘sorry babe, can’t go out tonight, working on my wolf suit!’ ☺

Reacher Congratulations. That wolf costume is incredible. You went for it and did it. So often things meant to be frightening fall short of the mark or end up looking cheesey or try hard. Can't tell you the number of times I've watched films and thought, are they serious didn't they see that looks like rubbish, I could do so much better. Then again, thinking is one thing and doing is another. Plaster moulds, wires….no wonder the wolf's head sitting in a place of honour on a shelf. The feeback in the interview was really very helpful. You're right, it's the challenge that makes it fun.

Congratulations Reacher 23, Red is fantastic. I loved how everything was black and white and then just red keys on parts. Cheers on post FX, frame by frame Jesus! Can’t imagine how much pain went into that. By the way, Granny is really frightening and my recollections of that story are forever changed! After reading Sista Pistol’s comments I had a look at your interview and couldn’t believe you made the whole suit yourself. I am a Stephen King fan and was very interested to read that it had been filmed in Maine. Granny’s house, your brother’s shed! Can only imagine he won’t be going down there too soon after viewing the film. I think it is wonderful to have an opportunity to have our creativity rewarded and no constraints. Hate how commercialism so often dictates what we can and can’t do as artists. Inspired by your dedication!

I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words. We worked really hard on this film and it makes me so happy when people appreciate all that we tried to do. Our goal was just to make a fun movie that people not only enjoyed watching but remember it after it's over. Only 4 people total worked on this film so it was a lot of work. My fiance Sadie played Red. We made the wolf costume together so it was almost like multiple dates Sistapistol :) It's actually funny, I didn't have a mannequin to put the suit on while I was hot gluing fur and foam to the suit. So, I had to wear multiple layers while Sadie hot glued fur to me. Yeah, a couple times a let out a yell and pulled the suit away from the patch of my skin being burned. My sister Tammy played Granny and I think she did a great job. A lot of her effects were done in the computer but I loved the way she contorted her body while she crawled. My brother Bob went above and beyond with this film. While I was running around dieing in a fur suit he was my eyes making sure we were getting all the shots we needed. He also set up the cabin for the shoot. After we finished shooting I edited like a madman! In the end, even though it was a lot of work I loved every minute of it. I feel so alive when I'm working on a project and see it coming together. So, from everyone who worked on our little film, we wanted to thank everybody for their kind words. Most of all I would like to thank Doc Sniper for giving us the chance to show our film to a new audience, in the end that's what it is all about.
