What is the trick to getting a vote to be accepted? People I have sent to the site to register and participate in the contest voting are telling me they don't think their vote actually registered as there is no acknoledgment of their voting, and if they later click to play the vid they voted for, the vote count is the same as BEFORE they voted. I had the same problem, but I thought maybe it was a policy of those with submissions are excluded from a vote.
How does one know their vote registered?

Hi there,
To vote for a video please login and visit the "contests" tab at the top of the page.
Once there you will see each video in the contest has a first, second and third button below it.
To vote simply rank the videos you choose as first, second and third by clicking on the appropriate button.
You will not receive a confirmation but if you log out and then in again you will see that your voting preferences remain highlighted and can also be changed if desired.
Please note that voting is entirely separate from star rating system that appears on the individual video page. Members are not able to see the vote count for the contest but they can see the ratings.
To vote you MUST login and visit the contest page.

Thanks for the clarification.
So I guess that means you can change your vote(s) as many times as you want up until the moment voting closes, and then whatever is selected at that moment (wether logged in or out) is then locked in and counted?
