Just reiterating on a previous post that I have made. There seems to be a lot of confusion recently about how our voting system operates, as opposed to our star rating system, which is entirely separate. We understand that this is something that is probably to going to go away easily so we are looking at ways to address the situation once and for all.
On another note, it is part of our terms and conditions that abusive text and wording on Doc Sniper from any members to other members and site administrators will strictly not be tolerated. Members found to be violating these terms and conditions will be terminated off the site. If you have any issues with the service that we are providing please forward your correspondence to iam@docsniper.com and we will address your concerns in a civil manner.
This site was established to foster up and coming film makers in an encouraging and positive environment and we would like to keep it that way.
It is first and foremost about the work rather than the reward.
See below for further details on the voting process:
To vote for a video please login and visit the "contests" tab at the top of the page.
Once there you will see each video in the contest has a first, second and third button below it.
To vote simply rank the videos you choose as first, second and third by clicking on the appropriate button.
You will not receive a confirmation but if you log out and then in again you will see that your voting preferences remain highlighted and can also be changed if desired.
Please note that voting is entirely separate from star rating system that appears on the individual video page. Members are not able to see the vote count for the contest but they can see the ratings.
To vote you MUST login and visit the contest page.
