The internet is such a crazy place, full of people who aren't who they claim to be. It's no wonder that most people are instantly suspicious of new ideas.

We've been made aware that some visitors to the site are worried about us being a possible scam. We'd like to assure all users that we are most certainly a legitimate business and Doc Sniper is in no way set-up to scam anyone out of their money. In fact we are so determined to refute this that we will offer a ten-fold money back guarantee to anyone who can prove that we are a scam.

Doc Sniper is the real deal. We offer exactly what we advertise: a venue where you can compete to win prize money for your videos.

Please, if you have any concerns then voice them in this forum.

    HI Doc,

I use my paypal credit card or paypal account to pay for everything on the internet, but when I tried to use it on your site it is asking me to update my backup card. I have plenty of funds in my paypal account, so it's like someone telling me" we need a backup source so that when we wipe out this account we can move to your second account and wipe that out too."

Your about me page goes to the page to give you money. I understand that you have a business here and you need funds to keep it going, we all do. But when someone clicks on your about me page they are trying to learn about the person they are dealing with. This is a place where you can tell about yourself and your company so that people will feel comfortable in knowing that you are there and will be able to be contacted. It gives them piece of mind that your not just going to wipe out there accounts. Same thing with the contact page-leads you to a form that basically allows you to hide behind. There are no company address or phone number. There is not so much as a e-mail address on this site, just looks suspicious.

Lastly- A money back guarantee that your not a scam artist does not make anyone feel comfortable. If you were a scam artist would you still honor your guarantee? I guarantee not.

I wish you all the best with your site and hope to be able to sign up in the future and submit films.

    Hi TrickKelly,

Thanks for your feedback. It's contributions like yours that we need in order to get this thing off the ground and make it a better site.
We will be looking into this pay-pal issue, which unfortunately we were not aware off and are obviously not happy about.
Once we get this issue sorted we will be sure to let you know.
Your suggestions regarding accessibility and contact details have been taken on board too.

    Cheers,

    Doc

Was this the message you were talking about?

    "You are paying be e-cheque.....

To make an instant payment, switch form eCheque to an instant bank payment by linking a debit or credit card as a backup payment source..."

    Cords-
No I don't use e-cheques. My funds are removed directly from my paypal account.
All of my business sales come in through paypal so I know all about e-checks. I have a paypal debit/credit card which I use more than anything when purchasing on or off the internet, or it comes directly out of my paypal account which has not had to use funds from another source for over 6 years.

Another issue I just came across. I was logged in but when I tried to post in this forum it said I had to log in. It said in the upper right "Welcome TrickKelly" but go to the forums page and it looks like it's not logged in. This was using Safari. I closed it out and reopened and it did the same thing. I opened it in firefox and it worked just fine. I don't know if this is an issue with safari, or your site, but I though this might be an issue you would like to know about.

I think you have a great idea here with the site. I think once word gets around about it that you'll have a lot more filmmakers signing up.
